Remember???
Ten years ago, up here, we were in the midst of the repercussions of the Ice Storm. In my case, 11 days without hydro and the loss of people I had thought were good friends (Nothing like Mother Nature to point out the cracks in a supposedly solid friendship, big time!).

Nine years ago tonight, we were all curled up on our couches, wondering if we had stored enough stuff to get us through the initial 2K meltdown. I don't know about you, but I held my breath at midnight, not really believing we were going to have problems, but well, it didn't hurt to be ready. Just in case, eh? I remember feeling very consoled that 2K had hit in Australia and they were still functioning.

For those of you still on-line tonight, my early wishes. May 2008 bring you health, wealth and prosperity. May it be kind to you. May it bring you the fic you want to write and the fic you want to read.

I want to thank you all for the support you've provided over the years. The encouragement. The feedback. :-)
